CHARMING CHALET LODGING
To complement our beautiful outdoor wedding venue we also have onsite West Glacier lodging. At Great Northern Resort, you and your guests are invited to stay in our new West Glacier Lodge or one of our five charming Swiss chalets — classic style Glacier National Park lodging, meant to complement our “North American Alps.” Our lodging options are located onsite and just a short walk to the wedding and ceremony site. Our West Glacier Lodge provides a unique Swiss style experience modeled after the Glacier National Park Lodges. With 14 beautifully appointed rooms, including 1 King Room, 4 King with twin Bunkbed, and 9 double Queen rooms you’re sure to have a great stay. There is plenty of room out side the lodge for games and more. Each of our cabins is appointed with all of the cozy details of home and sleeps 6-8 people. Rent out all five chalets for your wedding weekend and you will have a convenient base camp for your events, just a short walk to the wedding location. The Great Northern lawn — with its fire pit, volleyball court and horseshoes — is the perfect spot to gather your guests for a laid-back barbecue. You are welcome to block off the chalets for your group and have your guests call in individually to make their reservations.

GUEST ACTIVITIES: A TRUE MONTANA EXPERIENCE
Wedding guests often travel in from out of town, and many couples want to make sure their guests have the chance to experience Glacier National Park while they are here. At Great Northern Resort, we offer exciting Glacier National Park whitewater rafting trips and scenic river floats along the Glacier Park boundary, with discounts for groups. Imagine enjoying a fantastic Glacier Park river trip with all of your friends and family as a part of your wedding weekend celebration! We also offer guided fly fishing trips to entertain your guests, and can help coordinate a horseback ride, round of golf, hiking outing, classic red Jammer bus tour through Glacier Park and more. Our on-site barbecue café, housed in our very own antique Great Northern Railway caboose, provides delicious breakfast and lunch. For destination weddings and out-of-town parties, this is particularly nice — you can relax knowing all of your guests are well taken care of!
